Abad Fisheries is one of the largest processors of quality quick frozen seafood in India with 11 accredited and certified factories PAN India.The Director of Abad Fisheries Mr. Anwar Hashim, decided to adopt energy efficient measures and Renewable Energy as an alternative option for their Bangalore facility.
ILLUMINE carried out an energy audit at site and implemented energy efficient measures, designed and implemented a 100kWp Solar Grid Tie Project. The project is capable of supporting Deep freezers and covers 95% of there load requirements.
The Project is done using SMA German manufactured Inverters and ReneSola Modules – which are used in CIAL – Cochin Airport for 12 MW project. All the approvals from BESCOM and PPA is signed for the project.It is expectedto generate 40 lakhs Units of Electricity during its lifetime and ensures a payback within 5 years.
The Project is generating 500 units/day with grid export facility and live data monitoring, helping the customer to monitor day to day generation.

The off taker of this project is Mr. K.V.AbdulNazar (MD Akbar Travels). This On-grid project utilizes latest German technology inverters of SMA. Surge protection of DEHN Germany has been used.
